Nicolai Abraham Abildgaard
Abildgaard, Nicolai Abraham - (Artist, Furniture, Danish) Nicolai Abraham Abildgaard (1743-1809) was the leading Danish Neo-classical painter. Later in his life he made exact replicas of 5th Century B.C. Grecian furniture that were very elegant, and furniture for Prince Christian Frederick of Denmark in 1807. He is a listed known artist that has had 60 works of art offered at auction to date, 45 drawings and watercolors and 15 paintings.
